A WORLD WITH MORE NATURAL FIBRES BY 2030
Natural Fibre Connect (NFC) is an alliance between leading alpaca, cashmere, mohair and wool organisations. The NFC logo represents each of these four natural fibres, woven together by their shared goals and challenges as well as their commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – as seen by its resemblance to the SDG17 icon.
The goal of NFC is a world with more natural fibres by 2030. Through its events, NFC enables consensus building as well as sharing and understanding of the growers’ and herders’ perspectives.

There is almost no other space where all the role players in the Natural Fibres Industry gets together and shares our passion, stories, challenges, hopes and fears. As growers this was incredible and very rare chance to be part of the conversation. A conversation that affects us hugely.
This conference confirmed the need for us to stop waiting for someone else to tell our story and the beauty of our animals and the land, and the communities which nurture our threads. We have both the knowledge and the responsibility to educate within our supply chain and to a wider audience.
